- I founded the Apache Whirr project, for running distributed systems in the cloud.
- I live in the Brecon Beacons in Wales with my family, where we moved to in 2007 from London. From 2009 to 2012 we lived in San Francisco.
- I regularly give technical talks on Hadoop and cloud computing.
